Here is a pretty early 1920s gold metal loose powder compact. It is marked Patd in US in 1923 and in Canada in 24. On the back it is signed "Richard Hudnut." It has pretty engine turned stripes with designs in them. There also is a spot for an engraving. The back and sides are smooth. The inside mirror is quite dark, there is a puff and you push down on this compact to get the powder. It closed tightly and has very little scratches on it, no tarnishing and one tiny tiny dent on top. Measurements are 2 1/4 inches round and 1/3 inch deep.
