Automatic Electric desk stand dial telephone circa 1927 works and has a modular cord so you can plug it in and use it anywhere you have a jack. The base has a rubber ring to protect furniture. The porcelain dial has clear numerals and letters and is timed for accuracy. The receiver is updated inside so you can really use the telephone every day and it has an authentic cloth cord. Old telephones work on 12 volt telephone systems: Bell, GTE, etc
