AT AUCTION Nude German Bisque Blonde, Blue-eyed Doll in Birthday Suit

This little guy marked, "Made in Germany," was made by Hertwig in the 1920's. He is just under 5.5 inches tall. He is jointed at shoulders & hips, sporting painted on molded shoes and socks. Cute little chubby arms and legs are wire-strung. He is in very nice original condition; no cracks or repairs. Upper leg edges at joints show a few very tiny chips; they seem colored and fired right into the doll, as if original. The back of his head has a slight paint rub, also probably original to the doll. Very minor details for this kind of doll.
