A stunning vintage late 1950s early 1960s Judy Lee (Blanch-ette Inc) Bracelet with gorgeous oval shaped genuine Mother of Pearl or MOP Cabochons each bezel set in a high polished Rhodium plated metal and adorned with 6 mm white glass Pearl stations. There are a total of five Mother of Pearl Cabochons which are highly reflective and gorgeous each measuring 14x10 mm! The five alternating Pearls look so real! The overall length of this fabulous and elegant Bracelet is 7 ½ inches long by ½ inch wide; signed on the back of the clasp ‘Judy Lee’ with copyright mark, securing with a fold-over clasp and competed with a safety chain. Unworn and fabulous!!

A Tid-Bit of HISTORY:

Judy Lee Jewelry was created by a housewife in 1949 named Blanche Viano who started her own company in her Chicago Illinois home and was in business until the 1980s, along with her husband Aldo Viano who was the general manager. Sold at home parties give by Judy-Lee hostesses who were called the ‘Queen’. These ‘Queens’ could choose their own free gift or receive ‘Diamonds for Datings’ that could also be used to receive free jewelry. Judy Lee Jewelry was given to the Miss America beauty pageant contestants and was known as the official jewelry for the Miss California Pageant, creating the Queen’s, also making special jewelry ensembles for each beauty contestant. In 1965 there was a Judy Lee advertisement claiming that Judy Lee Jewelry was worn and appreciated by the most beautiful woman in America!
