Depicted in the Fred Rezazadeh book of costume jewelry 2006 is this gorgeous vintage 1940s signed Coro ‘Spring Flower’ Brooch designed by Coro’s head designer Gene Verrecchia and Adolph Katz whom was responsible for selecting the designs. A wonderful design using high polished gold plated metal in a swirling ribbon motif set with crystal Baguette Rhinestones and surrounded by a multiple array of pastel gemstone colored Rhinestones creating a ‘Spring Flower’ motif around the perimeter with one large Lemon Navette Flower at the bottom center. Slightly dome shaped measuring 2 inches in diameter and 3/8 of an inch deep. Weighty, well made and gorgeous!!
