A superb and rare antique Book of the City of Palaces World’s Columbia Exposition by Conkey & Company of Chicago Illinois depicting a picturesque view of the World's Columbian Exposition of 1893 with an elaborate collection of wonderful colored views and illustrations of the greatest Architectural, Artistic, Historical, Scenic and Ethnological features of the World's Columbian Exposition and Midway Plaisance published, endorsement and approval of George R Davis which was the director general of the World's Columbian Exposition. Each picture is complete with a graphic and accurate description. The first 15 pages are clean but not tight with some loose. Page 12 is marked 57, which is a printing error; the pages go from 80 to 97 but it doesn't look like any pages are missing! There are 176 pages total and after the first 15 pages the rest is fairly tight to the spine and clean. This Book is in very good condition for being 114 years old! Measuring 10 ¾” by 13 ½”. Absolutely fabulous!!
