Formed in 1773 by Phillip Mulkey, and other settlers from the Carolinas. Built in 1804 in the form of a cross, 12 corners for the 12 Apostles, 3 doors for the Trinity, it is the oldest log meeting house in Kentucky. Hannah Boone, Daniel's sister is buried in the churchyard, surrounded by the graves of other pioneer families, including several Revolutionary War soldiers.
This is a signed and numbered print (#57). Margin flaws, but they do not intrude with the prints condition. Print is by C.G. Morehead, Kentucky Artist of Property, 15th print and was issued in 1972. Size of print is 20 X 16
