On the central square in Bardstown, Kentucky, is an historic lodging place which has not closed its doors for over 225 years. Built in 1779, it was one of the first hostelries west of the Alleghenies. Its guests have been statesmen, princes, hunters and traders. One of the famous lodgers, legend has it was Louis Phillippe, later King of France.

This is a signed print by C.G. Morehead (Kentucky Artist of Property). Print is in very good condition. It is signed by the artist. This is the second print that Mr. Morehead issued in 1967. Print is 20 X 24 inches
