J.W. Audobon Hand Colored Lithograph

This rare lithograph measures 10" by 6.5". With the original gold leaf frame it measures 14.5" by 11". It is numbered 31 with Plate CLIV (Roman numeral). Figure 1 is Harris Marmot Squirrel. Figure 2 is California Meadow Mouse. The lower left corner indicates "Drawn from nature by J.W. Audobon". The middle section indicates "On stone by W.F. Hitchcock". The lower right corner indicates "Lith. Printed & Col. by J.T. Bowen Phil".
