Anton Michelsen introduced the tradition of an annual Christmas Spoon and Fork designed by well-known artists in 1910. The wonderful cutlery was sold exclusively through Georg Jensen who later took over production in 2003.

The 1967 pattern, named Splendor of Yule was designed by Paul Rene Gauguin and is gilt sterling silver with an brilliantly colored, patterned enameled handle. These very collectible fork and spoon are approximately 6" long and are impressed on the backs with “Julen 1967", “Paul Rene Gauguin” “Michelsen Sterling Danmark”. Both pieces are in excellent condition with minor light surface scratches and light wear to the gilding on the base which are only noticeable on close inspection and do not detract. They are offered as a set.
