Victorian Sterling Silver Pin With Hair Locket Back

The front of this Victorian brooch has the most incredible detail as can best be appreciated by looking at all the photos. This exquisite domed pin has a bezel on the back but is missing the glass. It would have been used to hold the hair of a loved one and could easily do so again by simply replacing the glass. This sentimental or memorial pin has a C type closure and is stamped with the British hallmarks for Birmingham 1886. It has a 1 3/8" diameter and is in excellent condition.
