Vintage Rosenthal RC Bavaria Hand Painted Mushroom Vase

This is a very unusual and quite wonderful vase with a variety of handpainted mushrooms and a magical quality. This exceptional vase is stamped with the underglaze RC Bavaria mark. The mark is identified in Kovels' New Dictionary of Marks as Philip Rosenthal and Co. 1901-1956. The vase is 4 5/8" high and approximately 4" in diameter. There are a couple of small scratches that do not detract from the delightful beauty of this vase which is otherwise in excellent condition. This would make a wonderful and unique addition to a collection of early hand painted porcelain!
