This antique miniature book is just 17/8" by 1 3/8" across. It was published by Breed, Butler & Co. in Buffalo in 1863. The cover is a textured cloth with gilding that is worn but still legible on the front cover. The spine has pulled away however this could be easily mended with a touch of glue. All 64 pages are present and tell brief stories of English monarchs, burnt cakes etc. The book is purported to be quite rare.
