Antiques:By Period, Style:Victorian:Holy Water Font

We purchased this lovely holy water font from an elderly woman who told us that it was a family piece that she brought with her when she emigrated from Ireland in the 1930's. As seen in the photos, the original gilding is worn and the piece has the wonderful look of a cherished heirloom. We have not attempted to clean it. The top is a three dimensional image of an angel and font has a raised heart motif. It is heavyweight and measures 5 3/8" long and 3 1/8" across.
