This is a cute baby rattle with an engraved scene of Little Jack Horner on the front. It is probably from the 1930's. It is a nursery rhyme rattle. "Little Jack Horner sat in the corner, Eating his Christmas pie,
He put in his thumb and pulled out a plum,
And said "What a good boy am I!" The engraving is of just that a little boy sitting in a corner eating a pie and in one hand is a spoon and in the other is a thumb with a small plum on it. It also has a little mouse sitting there. It is marked sterling on the back side on the buckle. The Mother of Pearl teething ring is in great shape. It does look like there is a flea bite of a chip on the inside rim of mop teether. It measures 3 inches long and rattles beautifully.
