I can tell you I have not had an American quartersawn oak hall seat in a very long time. This is an exceptional example of a popular entry way piece circa 1900. Beautiful applied carving, claw feet on cabriole legs, hinged seat, paneled back, serpentine front, and finished front and back. Finish is smooth and mellow. Please note the exceptional tiger oak used on this piece. Overall size is 48 wide, 18 deep, and 40 high. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
