This is such a fabulous piece of vintage apparel from the 1930s...just stunning in a beautiful black silk with a gorgeous floral print in a vibrant palette...this dressing gown features a shawl collar, no seamwork horizontally as the fabric falls straight down the entire length of the body and then is cut on the bias and made longer in the back to create a beautiful flow at the hem of the garment...it closes with an attached waist belt that wraps around the body and ties at the side with another tie...the sleeves are definitely one of the most dramatic sleeves i've seen on one of these, as this is a full length sleeve, deeply fluted to create the drama and cut deeply on the top to reveal a beautiful and vibrant hot pink silk lining inside the sleeves...condition is flawless and ready to wear and measurements are: waist:32-36, bust: 36-42, hips: 40-48, shoulders-17, length in front-58, length in back-62.
