Sweetpea Cottage is offering this striking brass Victorian pin done is the shape of a bow with dangles that resemble pinecones or unopened flower buds. It carries a beautiful patina with some oxidation on it. The oxidation could be easily cleaned off, but we would recommend no polishing since it took decades to develop its present color. The pin and bow are held together with a lovely filigree piece that wraps around the two pieces. The bow ends move freely and have small brass caps on the ends. There are three wonderful brass pinecones or flower buds dangling from the filigree, along with two 8mm round brass beads. The pin has the typical C clasp of the Victorian era. It measures approximately 1¾ inches across at the bow and 2 ¾ inches long, from the top of bow to the bottom of the large pine cone dangle in the center. The large pin cone is approximately 1 inch in height.
