Vintage Souvenir Charm Medals on Ribbon from Paris, France

This lovely old ribbon has seven old souvenir charm medals threaded on it. We don’t know what the original intended purpose of this piece was, nor do we know how old this collection is, but they show the deep patina of age. They are from Sacre Coeur, Notre Dame (ND) de Paris, Arc de Triomphe, Paris, Opera, Madeleine and La Tour Eiffel. The central medal is enameled with a coat of arms showing a ship at sail and three fleur de lis. The ribbon is silky grosgrain and is stained from age. There are no markings on the medals to indicate what they are made from. If you collect vintage medals or Paris memorabilia, this would be a fun item to add to your collection. The medals measure just over ¾ inch each and show no signs of wear or oxidation that would depreciate their value. Inside diameter of ribbon is about 12 inches.
