The artisan shop at Sweetpea Cottage has designed this unusual necklace featuring ruby zoisite, fuchsia dyed chalcedony, Swarovski crystals, Czech glass beads, and sterling silver beads. Ruby zoisite is crystalline aggregate of green zoisite with ruby inclusions. A close look at the surface of these large rectangular beads distinctly shows the crystalline nature of the stone. At the base of the necklace is a ruby zoisite pendant in a sterling silver bezel setting. Two strands form the necklace itself, one of which is constructed of Czech glass, polka dot beads and bugle beads with an aurora borealis finish. The second strand has ruby zoisite, fuchsia chalcedony and sterling beads, mingled with sparkling Swarovski crystals. One strand is slightly longer than the other, which positions it slightly on the outside of the necklace. The sterling silver toggle clasp is large with loopy dots, tying it in with the polka dotted glass beads. The loop measures 1 inch across. From one clasp end to the other, the necklace measures just over 18.5 inches. The double strands can be twisted slightly to shorten the length, when necessary. This is a unique design, and no more of these necklaces will be crafted. Wear it with casual or dress-up clothes – it will make a statement that is sure to be noticed.
