The artisan shop at Sweetpea Cottage presents this truly unique piece, constructed of turquoise cubes and rounds, accented by sterling drum beads and spacers. The drum beads are beautifully intricate and tactile. But the real star of this show is the huge, handcrafted silver butterfly. The stylized designs on this piece are painstakingly hammered, one-by-one, to give it a wonderful textured detail. There are even 1-inch long antennae popping out of the butterfly’s head! Cinching the necklace is a hammered-silver hook and eye clasp, nearly an inch long. From end to end this necklace measures 18.5 inches. Dress it up or down, but watch out! When you wear it, you’ll have to snap your fingers to wake up everyone who’ll be mesmerized by it!
