From our woodworking shop at Sweetpea Cottage, we are pleased to introduce this fine hardwood tray. The richness of curly cherry brings out the passion in everybody. Whether used as a desk accessory tray, in-box, or fine serving tray, it will make you happy to give or receive. It is one of a kind, so grab it while you can and add a touch of elegance to any setting.

The beautiful tray, done in the Colonial, or Williamsburg, style, is made from fine curly Pennsylvania black cherry. Loaded with grain figure and rich color, it is bound to catch anybody’s eye. Be sure to look at the wonderful swirl of the grain patterns on the inside of the bottom and on the sides. As the light catches the tray, it seems to be alive, and the grain keeps changing.

The largest external dimensions of the base are 11 3/16 inches by 14 3/16 inches. The internal dimensions of the tray are 10 ½ inches by 13 ½ inches. The total height, including the base, is 2 1/4 inches. The total height of the sides of the tray are 2 inches. Made completely by hand, the sides high-light keyhole designs cut into the sides and the ends. The base is attached using solid brass screws, allowing the base to float, in order to accommodate seasonal changes. Finally, it has been stained lightly with an antique cherry stain, varnished for added protection against wear, and topped with a coat of quality carnuba wax. This tray will provide years of pleasure and service.
