There are lots of abalone inlaid sterling silver pins from Taxco, but this little guy is really special. The pin is slightly less than 2 inches long, is about 1 inch wide, and is highly three dimensional rather than flat like most Taxco pins. He is shaped like a sea turtle and is holding his head high. He has a great expression on his face. On the reverse side the piece is signed with Sterling Taxco 925 Mex and the artists initials NA. It has a well attached safety clasp. The condition is fine ...

There are lots of abalone inlaid sterling silver pins from Taxco, but this little fish is really special. The pin is 1 3/8 inches long, is about 1 3/8 inches wide, and is very three dimensional rather than flat like most Taxco pins. On the reverse side the piece is signed with Maricello Tasco Hecho en Mexico 925. It has a well attached safety clasp.
