We have seen a few of these little Japanese necklaces from post-WWII 1950’s and this is one of the more interesting of them. Each bead is glass and the fruits seem to be hand-painted because some of the paint is chipped off. There are 6 apples and 5 pears with a variety of red, green and white spacers.
