Sweetpea Cottage is offering this wonderful souvenir bullet-shaped talcum powder tin from WW I. Made from an unknown metal and engraved on the side with the words “Camp Dodge”. Camp Dodge located in Iowa, was a military training camp, organized in 1907, and used to train dough-boys as they got ready to be shipped to Europe. Sweetpea Cottage has a set of very attractive heavy pewter tumblers, or cups, with ball feet. Each tumbler is hand decorated with repousse designs. Hammer marks are clearly evident inside of each cup. In addition, there are etched designs cut into the outside. They all create floral patterns of flowers and leaves. Three of the tumblers have designs that are similar and the remaining two are similar to each other.
