When the occasion calls for wearing a most extravagant piece of jewelry, nothing tops this ring. It is a total fantasy creation because of it's length and height and cascading rubies and diamonds all prong set.

The rubies are both round and marquise shapes and the color of pigeon blood rubies rather than bright red rubies. The rubies consist of 17 round and 18 marquise shape and 8 round white diamonds, they are not the clearest diamonds but they are white and sparkle. I had the stones electronically tested by my jeweler who assured me they are all genuine gemstones.

It is a ring that dates to the 1970's and the pictures speak for themselves. The design is very elongated with double rows of 3 dimensional swirls measuring almost 7/8" high in the center x 1-3/4" long. The ring is clearly marked 14K inside the band. It measures size 9 and can be worn on either the ring finger, middle finger or index finger for full dramatic effect.

As big as this ring is it is not very heavy because of the open work basket design and weighs 12.3 grams.
