A rare and unique opportunity to own this extraordinary Lalique crystal Nina Ricci Limited Collector's Edition of three famous double dove L'Air du Temps perfume bottles displayed inside their own lucite birdcage with satin glass stoppers in vibrant colors of blue, green and amber.

These are not dummy store display bottles but sealed, rope wrapped necks and never opened bottles with the romantic fragrance of L'Air du Temps. i have seen individual bottles of double dove frosted glass stoppers in jewel tone colors, but never as a collection of 3 bottles mounted on clear lucite pedestals of different heights under one removable 6 sided dome birdcage with a ball on top.

The beauty of this L'Air du Temps display is that the 3 bottles seem to float in the air. This is a magnificent and special collection for serious Lalique collectors. The colored dove perfume bottles have also been featured in Rago auction gallery catalogs.

In 1948 the Haute Couture House of Ricci introduced L'Air du Temps perfume. It has become one of the five most famous perfumes in the world including Shalimar, Chanel No. 5, Arpege and Joy. The famous sunburst shaped bottle with the fluttering doves above the stopper are a symbol of love and tenderness. This bottle was created in 1951 and designed by Robert Ricci, the son of Nina Ricci and his personal friend Marc Lalique. The Lalique family manufactured perfume bottles exclusively for the House of Ricci and each fragrance had it's own exquisite Lalique bottle that made the fragrance instantly recognizable.

Each 3/4 ounce bottle measures 2" high (for the clear bottom crystal alone, without the stopper). The overall measurements to the top of the dome are approximately 13" high, the frosted lucite hexagonal base measures 8" at the widest point. Measurements from the base to the top of the Blue bottle are 7", Amber bottle 6" and Green bottle 4". Each and every bottle and stopper is in mint condition, no chips or cracks. On the lower front of one side of the dome in gold letters you can read L'Air du Temps, Nina Ricci, Paris.

This is a magnificent collection of 3 colored double dove Lalique bottles to display on a dresser or vanity.
