Demitasse Set of 10 cups & saucers, 1 Demitasse Teapot or Coffee Pot and 1 Covered Sugar Bowl

Full sized Tea Service of 1 large Teapot, 1 Large Coffee Pot, large Cream Pitcher, 1 large covered handled sugar bowl, and large service tray.

Also includes MANY MANY completer pieces which I will list below.

A STUNNING Meissen dinner set that comes along only once in a lifetime. I've been selling online now for a good many years and have avid interest in Meissen and other German related pieces. Never have I seen quite a set as this. Simply gorgeous. The Meissen "under glazed" mark dates this set to1863 according to "Kovels New Dictionary Of Marks 1850 to the present; Page 66 block B" This would go along with the correspondence we also have with this set from March of 1984 which I'll quote one line, "it was bought by Franz Strucker Jr probably in Venice between 1870 and 1875". Refer to attached picture to see the whole correspondence we have with this set. For those serious Meissen minded at heart who appreciate fine china, this is the set for you. I have securely packed this whole set up and it has taken 16 boxes in total to do so. PLEASE NOTE: THIS SET WILL ONLY BE SOLD TO THE USA OR CANADA. Sorry no international buyers due to the logistics of shipping.

Should this set sell, the BUYER WILL BE responsible to arrange for pickup as it is far to big and valuable a set to be shipping pieces through the mail. The buyer will also be responsible for any customs or duty charges should this set find its way going down to the US.

DEMITASSE SET: 10 cups 2 1/4" wide X 1 1/2" tall, 10 saucers 4 1/4" across, I Covered sugar bowl 5 1/2" handle to handle and stands 4 1/2" high, 1 Demitasse Coffee Pot 7 1/2" tall and 7" from handle to spout. (22 pcs)

TEA SERVICE: Serving Tray 18 1/4" long X 1 3/4" wide, Large Teapot 7" high X 11" from spout to handle, Large Coffee Pot 9 1/2" high X 9" from handle to spout. 1 Cream Pitcher 4 3/4" high X 6" from spout to handle. 1 Covered Handled Sugar Bowl 6" tall X 8" wide from handle to handle.

2 Open Salts, each measure 4 3/4" long X 3 1/2" wide and 1 3/4" high.

2 Condiment or Preserve Pots, covered, handled and each has a ladle, 4 1/2" tall X 5 1/2" wide(saucer) X 3" wide at the top of the pot and the ladle is 4 1/2" long.

1 Extra Covered Handled Sugar Bowl, 6" tall X 8" wide from handle to handle.

1 Large Milk Pitcher, 6 1/2" high X 6" from spout to handle

2 LARGE COVERED and HANDLED TUREENS, each measure 10" tall including lids X 13" wide from handle to handle, and measured inside the tureen a depth of 4" deep.

2 SMALL COVERED SAUCE TUREENS, each measure 6" tall X 8 1/4" from handle to handle and each ladle measures 8" long.

4 LARGE SERVING PLATTERS; 2 measure 14" long X 10 1/4" wide and 2 measure 15 1/4" long and 11" wide

2 TRIANGULAR SERVING DISHES, each measure 12 1/2" wide X 11" long and 2 1/8" deep.

4 ROUND SERVING PLATES or CHARGERS; 2 measure 11 1/2" across and 2 measure 12 1/4" across

2 other ROUND SERVING PLATES w/HANDLES; one measures 9 1/4" across and the other measures 8 1/4" across.

Dinner Service for 12 people which includes: 36 dinner plates (setting for 12 for a 3 course dinner) each measure 9 1/2" across. 12 Side Plates, each measure 7 1/2" across 12 Wide Rimmed Soup Bowls, each measure 9 1/2" across 12 Teacups, each measure 3 1/2" across the top 12 Saucers, each measure 5 1/2" across.

I have carefully inspected each piece and I have noticed NO CHIPS, NO CRACKS, NO CRAZING, NO REPAIRS. Also I would like to add, that I do not notice utensil marks either. This set was a family heirloom and has been treated like gold.
