It offers a wonderful simple long line silhouette which is slimming in any language, and the soft outer net layer is lined in acetate satin.

The neckline, shoulders and sleeves are sheer and as you can see in the photos the bodice has a low scoop neckline both front and back. There are 5 tiny buttons and loops that close the back and below that, a working zipper.

The lower 1/4 of the skirt, below the hip, is layered in a soft netting which gives some fullness and movement to the dress, very fetching. The hem is slightly longer in the back and there is a side front satin bow.

I absolutely adore this dress and if I were getting married again (not) and were as slim as I was when this dress was new, this would be my choice. Seductive and sweet! Quite the combination.

Condition is excellent with no obvious flaws, rips, stains or odors.

Sizing: Please note: When I measure any clothing items, they are laid flat, so the measurements are of the garment, not a person. In order to be fairly certain that the item of your choice will fit you comfortably, I suggest that you do the same. Choose a similar item that you have in your closet and make it one that you feel very comfortable wearing. Lay it on a flat surface, take the measurements then compare them with the sizing in the description of the item you are interested in purchasing.

Vintage fashions: Unless otherwise stated, all the items of clothing and accessories that are offered for sale are vintage, ranging from the forties through the eighties. Therefore they have had a great former life and unless noted, all are gently worn. I try my best to buy quality and to note flaws however these items are not new and I do not represent them as “new”. They will not look like you just bought them at your local mall. So if a slight mark here, a loose button, a pulled stitch there, bothers you please don’t buy. I want my customers to be very pleased with their purchase. If you’re happy we’re all happy.

It is recommended that you clean all clothing items prior to wearing them. I often don't know the history of the garment and how it was exposed in its former life. Also, I live in an animal friendly house/home although Charlie has shown no interest in trying on my clothing.:) Even if I didn't have a pet, there is still no guarantee that a previous owner didn't have an animal friendly home. Also, I sometimes wear perfume, sometime I might even burn the odd candle in my house and meals are also cooked here from time to time. What can I say, we pretty much live here. :)

ALSO PLEASE NOTE that I have absolutely no control over the mail service. Once it’s delivered to them it’s their responsibility. I will always try to mail the cheapest method but, with that, there is no insurance or tracking number. If you require those services, know that the postage will be quite a bit higher.
