REDUCED Vintage 70's 2 pc. Skirt Suit -Herringbone Pattern -"Don Sayres Pour Gamut Div. de Irving Samuel"

I just love this suit with it's crisp and classy details. There is scalloped edging completely around the collar, down the lapels and front as well as all around the bottom. There are 5 button holes w/ sweet plastic buttons and shallow slit pockets, more for decoration than use. There is a dart seam from shoulder to hem, both front and back. The shoulders are padded slightly and the bottom of the jacket features a nice flare. Each sleeve has a decorative button at the cuff.

The skirt consists of 4 gored panels, also has slit pockets either side and closes with a 7" side zipper plus a button. Both skirt and jacket are fully lined in a mauve/pink acetate.

The fabric is 88% Viscose and 12% linen. The color is a pale pinky mauve with a small herringbone pattern that gives the effect of a slub weave.
