REDUCED Vintage costume Jewellery Demi Parure Set-Unusual Styling-Pretty in Pink

I hadn’t seen anything like this awesome set before I stumbled across it while attending an estate sale and I’m still not sure quite what to make of them. To me, this set appears to depict pink fans ending in white marabou feathers, the brooch having eight sprays of these fans, each with it's own set of white beads that are all prong set while the matching earrings have three of these sprays.

Now I ask you, is this my imagination? Don't be afraid to think so, I've been told that I'm always imagining things. :)

All 3 pieces are in great condition. The design borrows from the art deco era, this set however probably dates from the fifties.

The beautiful pink appears to be a coating applied to a metal base, perhaps dipped? I've shown a picture of the backs as they are more solidly coated and are a deeper pink.

The brooch could adorn a coat, blouse or a dinner dress in dove grey, chestnut brown, midnight black but I think it would look the absolute greatest pinned to a vintage beret style hat. The earrings would go in their usual place.
