This envelope style purse/hand bag/shoulder purse is one of the most attractive that I've seen coming into our shop, What'll I Wear? Vintage! It has great color, is roomy, very clean and has amazing workmanship.

Made in Montreal Canada by Coret, the drop dead mid chocolate brown exterior is very much like snakeskin or perhaps lizard and feels rough when you run your fingers over it. If it's "faux" then the talent that went into the design deserves applause, as the skins are so well matched that it is hard to tell.

Anyway whether or not you're especially hung up on knowing the type of skins used, the workmanship and detail alone make it well worth having. The interior is lined with a tan color suedine and boasts a large zippered pocket, a shoulder strap that can be detached and a large dome fastener to secure the purse. The back, as you can see in the pictures, has the top portion in the same material as the front, then the bottom half is smooth.

Dimensions are 10" across the top that flares to 12" at the bottom.

Classy and refined, you'll have a lot of the "wow, where did you get that? A little bit of jealousy never hurts, right? LOL
