This cardigan/sweater is in excellent vintage condition with no beading missing as far as I can tell, and all the tags are intact. The maker label reads "Made in Hong Kong for B. Altman & Co. 5th. Aven. N.Y. 70% Lambs wool 20% Angora rabbit fur and 10% Nylon. The lining is 100% Nylon. Speaking of lining, the body is but the arms are not (lined I mean) which is pretty much standard on these items. There is an awesome amount of white seed beads, (also some tiny faux pearl beads interspersed) ...

This is a very lovely vintage black cardigan with striking embellishments. The large flower petals are done in shimmery black and gold sequins. In the centers are small black seed beads. The leaves are outlined using tiny seed beads and very small bugle beads, as are the stems. The bottom, sleeve cuffs and the placket are trimmed with barely there, ever so tiny black beads.
