Intrigue comes to mind when I view this large muff. Can't you just picture it worn with a lovely slimming vintage 40's suit with a fab peplum topped off by a big and beautiful hat so popular in those days. Why this lady might even have owned a small derringer which could easily be hidden in the roomy zippered purse.
