Vintage Italian Venetian Murano Art Glass Lamps 1950s

These soft lavender Seguso Murano lamps are simple and spectacular. Their ribbed and swirled classic shape creates that 'genie in the bottle' mystique. They are a wonderful, soft lavender with a slight blue-violet cast to them. Changing light has a dramatic affect on the color. They're so much fun. When placed close to fluorescent lighting, they actually turn blue. They're heavily ribbed and mounted on two simple lucite platter bases each.

The lamps stand 24 1/2 inches tall to the top of the socket. The glass alone is 17 inches tall. The two level lucite base is 6 inches in diameter and 2 inches thick. The lamps have been completely rebuilt using all new solid brass hardware with a polished nickel finish. The glass is in perfect condition with no chips, cracks, blisters, or blips.

Shades and finials are not included.
