Cardboard Advertising Booklet for the Carrom Company (Folding Tables) of Ludington, Michigan. The outside pictures different models of tables, and the inside contains a printed "Rules for Ten Pins" as played on the crown and archarena combination game boards. Very nice condition. 7" x 4-1/2"

This early porcelain cream jar features an Elizabethan lady painted on the lid. The inside is partitioned and drilled with a hole so as to let moisture escape. I believe it to be a vanity "toothbrush" accessory. There is a small chip from the lid, but it's not visible when cover is on the jar. Also a hairline crack, also barely visible. A great early dresser accessory. 3-1/2" x 3-3/4" x 1-1/2"

This early snuff box features a reverse painting on the glass lid of a couple from the Medieval Period. The name "BR George" is written on the inside of the cover. This man was from Franklin County, Pennsylvania. Very good condition. Nice gold edges on the outside. 2-3/4" dia. 3/4" H.

This is a very small box of "Grandfather's Malaria, Fever and Ague Remedy by Aitken, Kipp & Co., Philadelphia. There is a cinnamon colored powder in the box and it was found in a Victorian home and apparently never used. I had several boxes and decided to let this one go. It is in excellent condition and probably still a "cure all"....... 1-1/4" sq. x 1" H.

This scent or perfume bottle lays on its side and is in the shape of a horn. The hinged sterling top conceals a stopper. Marked "Sterling". There is an "amethyst" mounted on the top, encircled by a wreath of decoration. A perfect "February" gift for that special lady. The cut glass is in perfect condition. 4-1/4" L - 5/8" W.

This is a large version of a "rooster in the coop" squeak toy. The wooden cage is made for the door to be closed, and when opened, the rooster jumps forward and releases a "squeak" noise from the bellows mounted in the back of the cage. Made in Germany. Works very well, with careful management. He is delicate. 9-1/2" x 6-1/2" x 6-1/2"

This little guy could also be a piano baby. He is painted bisque with little brown shoes, so he may be Dutch or German. There is minimal paint loss, and does not detract from the sweet face on this boy. He is holding a basket by his side and has his hand resting on his other leg. No chips or cracks. There is a number incised on the bottom, and I have tried to show it best in the photo. 4" x 4" x 3-1/2".

This collection of items pertaining to Joseph R. Hanan of Baltimore, Md. came from a local family as a relative. There is a lovely daguerreotype (3-1/2" x 3-1/4"), two old sepia photos, a black and gold Victorian death notice card, and a handwritten book of the Maryland Historical Society, Bills for 1857 thru 1861. Mr. Hanan's address is No. 11 Courtland St., Baltimore, Md. I am assuming he was treasurer for the Md. Historical Society at that time. This is a very interesting collection of ...

A rare little gem. Brass case with glass bezel watch with hinge and stem. When stem is pushed a catch is released and the case pops open to reveal a painted face on the end of a fabric covered coil spring. Works great. There are a few condition issues; i.e., the burlap material on the inside is very thin and broken in some places, and the outside has a few "crimps" on the brass edge, but this is a rare collectible. Made in Germany. 1-1/2" Dia.

This little girl is a bisque piano baby reclining on her dog, who seems to be smiling, yet his eyes show a bit of frustration. It is a darling little figurine. German. 6-1/2" L x 3-1/2" H - 4-1/2" W. Perfect. No chips or cracks. Her dress is also adorned with little gold beads on the neck, shoulders, hem, and sleeves. The expression on both of these characters is priceless.

This early composition rabbit candy container top is made of composition with glass eyes and painted features. His garment is made of pink cotton flannel and he is to rest on a round cardboard base. The bunny still sits perfectly upright as a great display feature. There are a few bumps and the pink flannel is a bit faded, but in great condition for his age. 6-1/2" H - 2-1/2" dia. at base.
