Wonderful little purse from the 1920’s! It is 6” x 5”, with country scenes in tiny stitches. One side has several figures standing by a carriage, and the opposite side has figures sitting a small table in a village. There’s even a little dog! The colors appear to have darkened a bit with age but I see no stains or other damage.

The interior is peach satin and does have a few small make-up stains, but no tears or large soiled areas.

The frame is embossed brass with a Greek key pattern. It has a short chain handle with a pretty and unusual link design. The flowered clasp tests as 800 silver.
