These Napco or Napcoware salt and peppers from the 1950's - 60's are my favorites! The Tom stands about 3 1/2" at the tail, the hen is about 3". They have wonderful detail and soft coloring. Condition is excellent.

Napcoware was made in Japan by the National Pottery Company. They made several turkey designs, but the bisque is particularly sought after. The pieces were made from a mold, but each one was individually decorated, so you find slight variation among sets.
