Victorian American Art Glass Reverse Amberina Cruet

Very elegant cruet in reverse amberina, in the Venetian diamond pattern. There is an applied clear reeded handle and faceted stopper, which may not be original. The stopper is old, but the fit is not perfect.

The cruet is 6" high without the stopper, and 7" high with the stopper in place. The lip of the cruet is finished rater roughly, and the upper handle attachment is visible, although this does not appear to be a fracture. Please see the detailed photos.

This cruet comes from the estate of a collector who passed away in the 1950's. His son left the collection untouched for nearly 50 years.
