Imagine this beauty on your table! The former owner received it as a wedding gift in the late 1920's, and I believe it has been carefully stored for may years.

The bowl is about 14" in diameter and 6 1/2" high. The scroll handles suggest a classical influence. The rim of the bowl has a relief design of fruits and leaves, the inside is engraved with a floral and acanthus leaf design.

It is marked on the bottom - Academy Silver on Copper. I see no damages at all. There is some tarnish and I have not polished it. The bowl is currently wrapped in an old piece of silvercloth (anti-tarnish cloth), which is included with the bowl.

A wonderful showpiece or extravagant gift!
