Glass thimble, with a gold finish and cut-to-clear floral design. It is 1 1/8" high and about 1" across the base. The label reads 'Handarbeit' (handmade).

Never used or displayed, it was still wrapped in tissue with a Made in Germany foil sticker. This vintage thimble dates from about 1960.
