Outstanding Victorian portrait brooch (circa 1890) with a young boy in a hat and fur vest. The surface appears smooth, but brush strokes are visible under magnification, indicating that it is hand painted.

The brooch is about 1 3/4" x 1 1/2" with a gold plated bezel setting with decorative border. The C-clasp is original and in perfect condition. There is no wear or damage to the painting - only the very slightest marks under magnification.. The colors are pure and bright. It's difficult to find painted brooches in such fine condition!

US shipping insured shipping is included in the price. Foreign orders are at cost.
