Pair Vintage White Handkerchiefs - Butterflies

Vintage handkerchief, 10" square. It is fine white cotton with a white-on-white hand embroidered butterfly with drawn thread work accenting the wings. The hem is hand finished.

The second butterfly handkerchief is shown separately. They are not identical, but similar. I will also sell separately at $8 each, which includes shipping.

The drawn thread work and delicate embroidery is so lovely - the quality of hand work you just can't find on newer pieces. Condition is excellent.

Every year, I list lovely lacy and embroidered hankies - they are a favorite for brides and wedding parties. A hanky is a nice keepsake for the bridesmaids and mothers - and I even have little ones for the flower girl. White and ecru are always popular, but many brides like a hint of color.

A hankerchiefs is also a nice memento to enclose with a card, or just treat yourself and tuck one in a vintage purse.
