This Mary Gregory green glass vase c.1900 is charming. The delicate hand-painted enamel vignette is lovely. A young boy is admiring a wild flower he picked for a loved one. The vase has a graceful shape with an octagonal interior and a smooth round exterior that gives it dimension. It is hand-blown with a cut rim. The rim has remnants of gilding. Condition: Excellent Size: About 6 ½ inches tall with a 3 ¾ inch rim.

This Victorian Art Glass hand blown powder jar is clam broth color. When held to the light, the glass shows the beautiful orange fire typical of this type of glass. The fanciful fluted finial tops a hand painted base. It dates about 1880. The jar is in excellent condition. The inside rim of the base has a few very small chips, consistent with age. The jar is about 7 1/2 inches tall with a base diameter of 3 1/2 inches.

How do they do this? These Victorian Art Glass vases c.1890 are two layers of glass. The inside layer is a rich rose pink satin glass.
