Hallmark commissioned Mattel to create a series of Holiday Christmas Barbie dolls. This is the Third in the Series of Special Edition dolls, titled "Yuletide Romance".

A charming Hallmark greeting card from Hallmark's archives was the inspiration for this lovely holiday Barbie® doll. She is wearing an elegant emerald green velvety gown. The fitted jacked is trimmed with golden embellishments, along with a matching brooch and ring. Her matching green shoes and a hair brush are also included, along with a stand so that she can be admired standing alone, as well. There are two vintage holiday greeting cards included, also.

The holiday image that inspired this beautiful doll is shown on the flap of the box - a couple sharing an affectionate moment together, probably after slipping away to the parlor from a Victorian era social gathering. Their gentle embrace is the perfect ending to a sentimental holiday evening, just as this pretty doll is a perfect gift!
