This gorgeous Fenton Art Glass bell was a sample in the hard to find PO plum opalescent color, sometimes also called purple opalescent. According to the historian at the Fenton Art Glass Company, it was not an "in line" color, but one that was tried out for this particular bell. This bell is most likely one of a kind.

Amelia Earhart, Helen Keller and Elizabeth Ann Seton are shown on this bell, honoring special women in American history. Their portraits are inside the ovals and the rest of the glass area is covered with lovely pressed flowers that look like dogwood. Please take a close look at the photos to see the wonderful detail on this bell.

The bell is solid glass, 6" tall, and a deep purple, plum amethyst color. It has just the right amount of opalescent accent on the tip of the handle, around the shoulder of the bell, and also along the bottom edge. This is a hard to find piece that would be a great addition to any collection, or to give as a gift.
