Gold, Copper & White Art Glass Adventurine Bowl

This is a gorgeous mid-century art glass bowl (could be used as an ashtray). It is a brown and gold color, with some hints of dark orange, fading to more beige or tan at the edges. It's hard to pinpoint the color since it looks different depending on the angle you view it from. When the sun or bright light hits it, the copper and gold color adventurine (aventurine) gleams beautifully.

The bottom is white cased in clear glass. There are several turquoise blue flecks of color in the bowl, and they only add interest to this pretty, free-form piece. It is 7" across at the widest, 3¼" high and very heavy! A lovely, decorative glass piece, or a wonderful addition to any collection.
