New Martinsville "Flame" Depression Glass Candle Holders

This is a lovely pair of candle holders made by New Martinsville Glass Company, circa 1937 - 1944. The pattern is called "Flame" and also "Squirrel's Tail". (I've also seen it referred to as "Notes" since the shape resembles a musical note.

The are clear glass, in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks or flakes. The mould seam is present on the top of the bases and up through to the holders - this is normal, from the manufacturing process of that era. The bottoms are ground and polished.

They are 6¾" tall and 5" across at the widest. A beautiful set of vintage candle holders for decorative purposes, or to add to your Depression glass collection!
