Our Service Pledge To You:
I guarantee the authenticity of my items. I also guarantee my items to be in the condition as described in pictures and text. You can put your trust in this shop. I will respond to all orders within 48 hours, most likely within a few hours. I may be in my physical store or out finding more treasures for you, and sometimes I may be gone over night or two on a buying trip. Rest assured, I will respond.

If you do not hear from me within 24 hours, please check your spam folder. Email is getting harder and harder to deliver these days!

If a complaint does happen to arise, you and I will come to a mutually agreeable resolution as soon as possible.

Return Policy
Ruby Lane and each of its independent shops want you to be satisfied with your purchase. To ensure your satisfaction and for the protection of both the buyer and shop owner, we have a Return Policy that each Ruby Lane shop owner honors. View Return Policy now.

Shipping/Handling/Insurance Policy:
Buyer pays for actual shipping and insurance, which is rounded up or down to the nearest .50. I never charge a handling fee. If there is a discrepancy of $1.00 or more between what I quoted you on the shipping, and what the post office actually charged, you will receive a refund for the difference that I over charged you. If the discrepancy is in your favor, I will pay the difference, at no charge to you.

Restocking Fee:
We do not send items until payment has been received in full. We encourage all questions from prospective buyers, and will answer quickly and honestly to help in your decision making process. Our policy is a 10% restocking fee, however, the exception to this policy is if the item was not correctly described, there will be no restocking fee.

Other Information:
PayPal Payments are expected within 3 days of submission of a Purchase Order, unless other arrangements are made. If you would like for me to send you a PayPal Invoice for your convenience in paying, please let me know, as I will be happy to do that for you. Or, you can return to your account and click on the paypal button for your transaction. Payments coming in the mail are expected within 10 days of submission of Purchase Order. Address for payment will be given at the time of the order. Personal checks are accepted. All items are shipped within 24 hours after receipt of payment. Please make all checks or money orders payable to Maranda Johnson. I package with extreme care, and all packaging is done in-house. Please note that due to the fragile nature of most of my items, double boxing and or extra padding material adds weight, and shipping costs go up and can be higher than expected. Also, many of these items are very heavy before boxing. Rest assured that I never charge for packing supplies or a handling fee, only actual shipping. I try to get as close as possible using my home scale, and I am 99% accurate; but on foreign orders especially, my shipping quote may be different than the actual charges, at the actual post office, depending on which clerk is actually behind the counter, at the actual time of mailing. Please see my shipping and handling policy above regarding this. Most items are shipped priority mail, unless parcel post is requested. Occasionally, I may change shipping methods due to size of item, or upon customer's request. A LayAway Plan is available on certain items. Please email for details.
