This is a wonderful and early antique glove box which dates to the Victorian Era. The box is extremely ornate with its rich chocolate brown base and a fancy top. The top depicts a woman siting on a boat with cat tails and water surrounding her. Her lovely white dress is accented by a draping pink cloth.

The glove box measures 12 1/2" by 4 1/2" by 2 3/4" tall. The condition is VERY GOOD! The original pale blue silk lining is still intact.

The outside is extremely ornate with textured flowers and scrolling designs.
